Behind the Brickwork

Charles and his brother Anthony have embraced the Teluta family business their whole working life. 

From young children, watching their father Charlie deliver his bricklaying craft, to working on large scale government projects, Charles completed his formal apprenticeship alongside his father, brother and industry peers. 

Shortly after his father Charlie embarked on retirement, Charles took over this Australian-owned family business as Managing Director, overseeing project delivery and tendering. Whilst his brother Anthony became the Teluta Construction Manager, honouring his meticulous workmanship and attention to detail.

Teluta Masonry now celebrates over 40 years of craftsmanship, specialising in the design, supply and installation of brickwork across luxury homes, medium residential and commercial sectors and state Government initiatives which include schools, utilities and infrastructure. 

Also known for remedial works, Teluta have worked extensively in both the private and public sectors, most recently completing an Art Gallery in Sydney city for prized Chinese art. Other notable projects include chapel and church construction in North Sydney and Lower North Shore, to high-end tri-level homes across waterfront locations in the Northern Beaches and Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. 

Charles has worked with organisations such as AusGrid, Sydney Water and Department of Defence and continues to work with Architects, Builders and clients keen in pushing the envelope when it comes to design, sourcing exclusive brick supply from Australia, Copenhagen and around the world. 

Now delivering comprehensive cost-planning schedules and project management for each and every client, Charles is a well respected masonry professional known for his hands on approach and attitude to safety. The Teluta team are highly sought after for their extensive Masonry experience and award-winning project work that reflects their core values centred on design, quality and service.
